We’re delighted to officially launch the Mixed Golf Group at Wirral Golf Club – and we’d love you to be part of it.

The events last year were very well supported and showed just how much enthusiasm there is for mixed golf within the club. Highlights included two enjoyable away days, with 24 golfers visiting two clubs in North Wales, a popular Christmas mixed event at Wirral and a mixed foursomes matchplay competition that ran throughout the winter.

Building on this great start, the group is open to anyone who enjoys friendly, inclusive mixed golf. As a member of Wirral Golf Club you’re very welcome to join:

• As a pair (one male golfer and one female golfer), or
• As an individual golfer who is happy to be paired up with others.

Events will be held both at Wirral Golf Club and at a variety of other courses during the season. They’ll include a range of fun and interesting formats, and from time to time pairs may be mixed up, giving everyone the chance to play with different partners and get to know more members.

Looking ahead, we’re planning a varied programme, including a mixed foursomes knockout competition in the coming season, along with other social and competitive events.

The aim of the group is simple: to enjoy sociable, relaxed yet competitive golf, encourage participation, and help strengthen connections across the membership.
